A woman is to appear in court on an attempted murder charge after being arrested under anti-terror laws.
Kuntal Patel, 36, of Park Road, Stratford, east London, will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court, Scotland Yard said.
She was arrested following a counter-terrorism operation after searches of three addresses in the capital.
Police, including counter-terrorism officers, searched two properties in Wyatt Park Road in Streatham Hill, south London, on Saturday, as well as a third property in Stratford, east London, where Patel was arrested.
She was charged last night after officers were yesterday granted a custody extension by magistrates.
A 19-year-old, reportedly the son of diplomat Nicholas Sutcliffe, first secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, was also arrested at his parents' home in Streatham Hill.
Mr Sutcliffe was told yesterday he would face no further action.
The pair were arrested under the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, which was part of the then-Labour government's response to the September 11 attacks.
Many of the act's measures are not specifically related to terrorism.
